How fast life can change!
In June I got scrapping my PL catch-up pages again and was determined to continue. I took photos again and even made a page about the gap. My carreer looked good then and I was about to take a big big step forward. Well, that happened and it consumed most of my time, my thoughts and my energy. Not in a bad way, no. As exhausting as it is, it’s also very exiting.
However, scrapping weekly just wouldn’t happen. So I have decided to let it go. I have pages from October to beginning of January. They still show a pretty good picture of our life. I will wrap it all up and call it finished. I’m a bit sad and yet relieved. Giving up frees me from having to keep at it. And it frees my limited crafty time slots. I always have been a scrap project lover, so this is what I plan to do for now.
I pre-ordered the Studio Calico December Daily kit here. A big 12×12 album and a lot of journaling cards and embellishments are sittig on my desk, waiting to document our family holiday in Greece this month. By the way, you HAVE to take a look at the Gossamer Blue Life Pages kits, done by Traci Reed. There is also a smaller album to be filled with my hiking memories. Aaaand, a week in the life is coming!
A week in the life is a unique way of documenting a slice of your everyday life for one week. This project – started by Ali Edwards – was fascinating to me, but I somehowe never tackled it before. This year I’ll give it a go. Lynnette from Nettio Designs has created the most adroable templates for it. Check them out:
